As readers may have noticed, there hasn’t been a new review post on the blog since February. I know it looks like I have stopped updating all together, but the real situation is that I have been keeping up with social media a lot more. As much as I love writing about records, it seems that most collectors today are more interested in seeing these different pressings in the short video “reel” format, with some very basic review points outlined in the description. Half of the time, it seems like people don’t even read that far and end up asking questions that were already answered had they checked that little bit of writing.
There will be further updates to this written site eventually, but for now, please follow along on Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. The Dawn of the Deadwax YouTube channel seems to be growing pretty steadily, so I’m considering adding some more long-form, in-depth content in the near future.
